Repte

A top-tier esports organization needed a public website that could move at the pace of competitive news while doubling as an owned fan-engagement surface, not just a brochure.

Enfocament tècnic

Senior product and front-end engineering on a CMS-backed platform: editorial content models for teams, players, matches, news, and shop, plus a FanFest SDK embed that brings loyalty, memberships, and live engagement into the public experience.

Decisions d'IA i infraestructura

Next.js 15 and Payload CMS 3 gave the editorial team fast, structured publishing; the FanFest SDK embed reused proven fan-engagement infrastructure instead of rebuilding it, so the site launched as both a content hub and an engagement channel.

Resultats

OG Esports gained a fast, editorially rich website that publishes competitive content and converts visitors into engaged, rewarded fans through the embedded FanFest layer.

The project shows Kalebtec shipping the same modern stack this site runs on — Next.js 15 and Payload CMS 3 — on a demanding, high-traffic sports brand.

Overview

OG Esports is one of esports’ most recognizable organizations. Its website (ogs.gg) presents teams, players, match coverage, news, media, and shop, while embedding FanFest fan-engagement so the public site also rewards and retains fans.
